Events - The right voice for your occasion
A birthday, an anniversary, a corporate dinner, a retirement — whatever the occasion, the music sets the mood. I'll build it around what you want the evening to feel like.
From classical to Irish ballads to chart songs, I sing across every genre. If there's a song you love that isn't in it, I'll learn it. And if someone wants to get up and sing — there's always one with a party piece — they're very welcome. I'll sing with them.
I've sung at private and corporate events for years, indoors and out — birthday parties at home and in hotels, dinner dances, Christmas parties, and corporate occasions, including a private dinner at an ambassador's residence, where I sang four-part harmony while eighty guests dined.
And some of the best nights are thirty people in a sitting room — Irish ballads for one generation, chart songs for another. Formal or informal, background music or the centre of the room: your event decides, and the music follows. The evening is yours. I'm there to make it feel the way you hoped.
The Room and the sound
A hotel function room needs a microphone and a proper speaker; a sitting room needs almost nothing — a small speaker, and me, discreet in the corner. I'll size the sound to the room, because the music should enhance the atmosphere, never take over.
And the equipment is mine to look after, not yours. Whatever the venue has or hasn't, I arrive with what's needed.
A few practical things help me plan: the size of the venue, indoors or outdoors, your timings, and roughly how many guests. Morning to midnight, whatever hour suits your event.
On the Day
I'll arrive early, check the sound, and have a quick word with you or your organiser so I'm exactly where you want me. After that, you don't have to think about me again — I'll simply be there, singing, when the moment comes.
If you have a band or a DJ, I know how their side of the night works — I'll talk to them myself, fit in around their set, and hand the night back to them seamlessly.
My Approach
For a corporate event, I'll usually be working with whoever is organising — an event planner, or someone inside the company. It's simpler than a wedding: tell me the atmosphere and the kind of music you're after, and I'll build the programme myself and send it over for a look before the night.
For a birthday or a private party, I'll work with the host — the guest of honour's favourite songs first, then a playlist built around them in the same spirit, passed by you before anything is sung.

Every event has its own kind of pressure, because somebody's job is to make the night go well. If that somebody is you, the music is one thing you can hand over early and stop thinking about.
Tell me the atmosphere and the kind of music you're after — that's usually one conversation with you or your event planner — and I'll build the programme myself and send it over for a look. On the night I can sit quietly behind the meal, lift the room after it, or both; I've sung two hours straight, dinner to dance floor.
And the music doesn't have to be formal because the occasion is. The song beside this is a chart song — sung the way you know it.

Christmas is my busiest time of the year — there are only four weekends in December, and they book up fast, so the earlier you get in touch the better. It's also my favourite: the season was made for live music.
It doesn't have to be a big night to deserve it. A smaller Christmas dinner with live carols in the background — instead of a playlist through a speaker — turns an evening into an occasion. A party can have the lively ones too, the songs everyone knows the words to. And for something grander, I can bring four-part harmony or a full choir — the choir page will show you what we can do together.
